Rosell was giving an interviewwhen he said that he is expecting to announce the midfielder's contract renewal in the coming days.
“Iniesta is a key player for us," stated Rosell.
“It is likely that the next great news for Barcelona will be the renewal of Iniesta’s contract.”
The 29-year-old has made 242 league appearances for Barcelona since making his debut back in 2002.
