Arteta : Bendtner is important to Arsenal

Posted by TB  | No comments

Nicklas Bendtner still has an important role to play in Arsenal's Premier League title charge, according to team-mate Mikel Arteta.

Bendtner scored inside two minutes on his first Gunners start in three years as Arsene Wenger's men comfortably saw off Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

The Dane's improving form is a boost to Wenger's hopes of lessening the scoring burden on Olivier Giroud, as Arteta admits Arsenal will have to rotate their squad to stay top of the table.

He deserves it," Arteta told reporters of Bendtner's goal. "He has been working really hard. He joined us in pre-season and was rewarded. He got the chance and got a very good goal.

"The good thing is we can still rotate the squad and keep winning. The squad players can contribute and help the team be successful. Every member of the squad is important and Nicklas is no different.

"He is an Arsenal player and while he is here, he is 100 per cent here. I don't think he will be thinking of doing anything different because he likes playing here.

Bendtner : I want to leave Arsenal

Posted by TB  | No comments

Nicklas Bendtner has revealed Arsenal still want to sell him and that he is looking to leaving the club.

The 25-year-old has been reintroduced to Arsenal’s first-team this season after Arsene Wenger blocked the forward's move away in the summer transfer window.

The Denmark international, who has only secured a starting place in Arsenal’s two Capital One Cup matches this term, insists the criticism directed at him via Twitter is unfair as it was the club who decided to keep him in north London.

"I will not be upset by that sort of thing,” Bendtner told Berlingske.

“That is how it is to be a football player. But I need to keep me strong, I begin to listen or even believe in them, I can quickly force myself into a black hole.

"Right now I'm the easy prey to them because I want to get away from the club, and Arsenal do not want to keep me. And these haters - they always choose the easy option. Basically, it is unfair to pig me when I had my club transfer in place in the summer and Wenger told me to be.”

Bendtner also hit out at Wenger’s decision to place him in the reserves this summer before promoting him to the first-team squad after his transfer failed to materialise.

"When I had been at the club since I was 16, I found it totally ridiculous that they had placed me in the reserves and let me train by myself,” said Bendtner.

“Suddenly everything was back to normal: I trained with the first team, I hung out with the first team, I had a dietician again. From being completely out to be completely with it again.

“I had it all in place, there were three clubs who were just waiting for me to say yes to one of them.

"It was not the mindset I had [to stay at Arsenal]. I was incredibly disappointed when he [Wenger] called because I was ready to move on. And I actually did not think that they wanted to keep me."

Bendtner : Arsenal didn't let me leave

Posted by TB  | No comments

Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he is  disappointmed that Arsenal blocked him from leaving the club during the transfer window.

They didn't want to sell him if they didn't sign any striker , and since they failed to sign Demba Ba on loan , Bendtner will remain to the club.

The Denmark international has now released a statement detailing his frustration at failing to secure a fresh challenge at another club, but he is determined to try to contribute to Arsenal this season.

Bendtner has failed to make any good season at Arsenal since he arrived. In the last seasons he have been loaned at Birningham , or Sunderland.

Bendtner is a first team player

Posted by TB  | No comments

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Nicklas Bendtner will remain a part of his first-team plans for the season.

The Denmark international has been linked with a move to Hull City Tigers.

However, Wenger says the 25-year-old is likely to remain at Arsenal this term and could challenge Olivier Giroud for a place in attack.

"The chances for him to leave now are very small. If he doesn’t leave, prepares well and is fit, really fit, I will use him," Wenger told reporters.

Bendtner lately have been sent on loan, like last season at Juventus  where he did play 10 matches but failed to score atleast once.
